Connecting "Made in Italy" to the World
La Confederazione degli Imprenditori Italiani nel Mondo (C.I.I.M.) is a lobbying and networking platform founded in 2003 in Rome. Our goal is to create a global network of Italian entrepreneurs, executives, and managers, linking the leading "Made in Italy" communities abroad with companies operating in Italy.
What we do: We promote "Made in Italy" and enhance bilateral economic relations. We contribute to strengthening the Italian economy and highlighting Italy's prestige worldwide.
How we do it: Through the organization of high-level Dialogues, networking roundtables, social meetups, and formal institutional meetings, we foster connection and support international business expansion.
Vittorio Zagaia
President, C.I.I.M. EurAsiaMed
Welcome to C.I.I.M. EurAsiaMed
The commercial bond between Italy and Türkiye is not a recent development. Venetian and Genoese merchants traded along these shores centuries ago, and the Mediterranean has connected our two peninsulas — and our two business cultures — ever since. What we do today is a continuation of that long conversation.
That heritage now rests on solid ground. Bilateral trade stands at over $32 billion, with the two governments having set a new target of $40 billion, and more than 1,600 Italian companies operate in Türkiye, representing over $5 billion in investment. Italy is Türkiye's second-largest trade partner within the European Union. The complementarity is real: Italian design, engineering and brand heritage meeting Turkish industrial capacity, speed and a young, dynamic workforce.
C.I.I.M. EurAsiaMed exists to turn that potential into business. We bring together entrepreneurs, executives and institutions across Türkiye, Central Asia and the Mediterranean — through networking, dialogue with public authorities, and the exchange of experience among our members.
I invite you to explore these pages, and to join us.
